Yippee! Sam is here!

I'm so excited to have my brother Sam come back from Dallas. He dropped everything to move out here and be closer to family. Now that is a big leap of faith! I'm so excited to have him around again. We are only eighteen months apart and he has always been such a close friend. He is living at my sister Liz's house but is moving up here shortly. It will be great because he is such a good cleaner, babysitter, etc. (although that's not the only reason I'm excited to have him live with us) He's a great cook too and we always laugh. Who could ask for anything more! These pics were taken when we went hiking when he first came out. We were trying to get one of all three of us jumping at the same time.(Sam, me, and Liz). This is an expression of how happy we are to have Sam here again. Love you Sam!

After graduating from preschool, the boys and I were walking to the car. Ben was a little sad and said, "I kind of don't want to go to Kindergarten, because most of the kids there are Chinese." (What?)
Isaac: I think Michael Jackson should be on American Idol. He would smoke everyone!
Ben: I know why it rains. Because Jesus is sad that everyone is evil so he is crying.
The twins call adults "humans". So Ben was talking to Jake saying, "When you grow up you get to be a human."
Jake's new thing is to call girl's "ladies". We were at Costa Vida and Jacob came out of the play area and said, "That lady in there is being mean." He then pointed to a little girl. The next day he woke up and said, "I had a dream that I kissed a lady."
The boys were talking about going to Cabella's. Ben said, "Is she going to be there?" John said, "What?" Ben replied, "Cabella. Is she going to be there?"
John was explaining the Law of Consecration and how we will put everything in a big pile and each take out what we need(an easy explanation). Isaac said, "Are there going to be kids in the pile? You can throw me in there!"
Ben's favorite Super Hero is now Joseph Smith. He said, "I'm going to fight all of you! Cuz I'm Joseph Smith!"
The other morning Ben was checking out my pudgy post pregnancy arms and while grabbing them he said, "You look like the Hulk!" I guess that's better than calling me fat!
The twins don't have very many friends. They are perfectly content with eachother. Ben came up to me while I was cooking dinner and said, "Can my friend eat over?" I said, "who?" he then pointed to Jake. Then he told me that Jake is his friend that wants to eat over and he will go home after dinner. I thought it was halarious. Then a couple days ago they went running through the kitchen to go play outside and one of them was calling the other "Uncle."
I always laugh at the misinterpreted words Enoch says. The other night at the dinner table he was trying to get the twins to eat by saying, "You better eat. There are starving children in Australia." I think he meant Ethiopia. John told Enoch we were going to take the newly found turtle to the pound if we couldn't find it's owner. A couple hours later Enoch says,"I don't want to take the turtle to the hound."
Ben asked,"Mommy, how come you know everything in the whole wide world? Did Jesus teach you that?" I didn't know I was so smart!
Jacob likes to bless the food at almost every meal. Lately he has been saying,"Bless mama and her baby and help her baby to get taken out." I think we are all anxious!
Upon sleeping in a tent with Grandpa Fossum and Enoch, Isaac was asked how well he slept. He said, "Not very well. Grandpa started snoring really really loud, and then Enoch started snoring and then he kicked me off the mattress. So I didn't sleep very well at all." Isaac has a sweet voice and doesn't pronounce his r's correctly yet, so you can imagine how cute that sounded!
I was talking to Enoch about the difference between girls and boys and he said,"Boys work really hard when they are young and then they grow up and buy their own car, but girls just say,'Daddy, I want a new car!"
Jake and Ben learned about Jesus healing the 10 lepers in Primary. Their teacher asked the class,"What did Jesus do to the 10 lepers?" Ben said,"He killed them!" I think he's getting confused with killed and healed!
Uncle Jacob and Ben had this conversation: Ben:Is everything alive, and does it talk? Jacob: probably we just don't understand them. Ben: Can trees talk? Jacob: maybe, we just don't know their language.Ben: a tree talked to me. .It said,'who's bike is that?' and I said, "it's mine."
Enoch says, "I need to start wearing boxers instead of tighty whities. I'm becoming a man. b-e-c-o-m-i-n-g becoming a man!"
I let Enoch watch Michael Jackson's "Bad" video. Later that night he came and told me that he got some spray paint and sprayed the word "Bad" on his wall! Woops, I guess he shouldn't have watched that one!
Ben was looking at his cousin's picture and said,"Peter is funny." I said, "yeah he's cool huh?" Ben replied,"Peter isn't black. Only black guys are cool."
Ben and I were making John a Father's day breakfast to eat in bed early in the morning. Ben saw how much attention Father's get on this day and said, "Mommy, when's Kid's day?"
I was breaking out on my face and Isaac says," Mom, why do you have all those nipples on your face?" I said, "they're not nipples, they're pimples!"
Enoch says, "I'm sick of this weather. It's always raining." Ben goes, "Yeah, my tummy feels rainsick."
