'tis the Season to be Jolly!

So it's taken me a few months to even get some time to blog again, the busy days of having a newborn! We had a great Christmas. On Christmas Eve we went up to Salt Lake to Martin and Ingrid's and did the whole nativity scene and dinner. We also celebrated Kate's birthday. My boys dressed up as shepherds and Rachel was the lamb. It was very cute.
The next morning was super fun. We woke up early and went into the living room to open stockings that Santa had filled. Ben and Jake were so excited to get "Indiana Jones" whips. ($2 whips I found at Zurchers). Enoch was private about his stocking and didn't like the attention we gave him. Then we had breakfast and went downstairs to open gifts from eachother. We gave the boys a Wii this year and it was the last gift they opened. Enoch was so excited he dived into my arms and hugged me. We have it on video tape. The boys also got some lego toys. Ben and Jake got some swords and attire. It was a fun morning to be together and enjoy the true meaning of Christmas. I will blog later about what John did for me this year. Every year he has a different theme with my gifts. I think it's halarious mainly because he gets so giddy about Christmas because he can't wait to see my reaction when I open my gifts. That night Liz and David came up with their kids for Christmas dinner. I'm glad they did because I always get depressed when the morning event is over so I was glad to look forward to guests. We played the Wii all night as well and watched David and John's bowling moves. I can see why people get addicted to that thing! It was a wonderful day!

Oh yeah, I also crocheted some little people for the boys. That is what Jacob is holding up. It's so funny how they get joy over the little things in life. I love kids!
